Producer can now cut real documentary videos from a brief
The Producer's documentary preset is live: give it a topic (or a reference video whose pacing and tone you want to match) and it researches an outline, writes a narration script, retrieves real B-roll footage from public-domain and Creative-Commons sources, synthesizes narration, finds a royalty-free music bed, and cuts the whole thing together with captions — no AI-generated character shots, just real retrieved footage on your beats.
Every production now shows exactly which sources it pulled from and why — footage, narration, and music each get an auditable scoring breakdown in the production detail view, not just a finished file. If narration or music can't be sourced, the video still ships silent or music-free rather than failing outright, and the reason shows up right in the dashboard.
You can also start from a reference video: point Producer at something whose style you love and it analyzes pacing, tone, and visual grammar to steer the new production toward that same feel.
